Learn to use XSEDE (Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment), a tool for computational research
Friday, March 8, 2019
10:00AM
UCSB Center for Black Studies Research, 4603 South Hall

Our in-person, all-day workshop will provide an overview of XSEDE (Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment), an introduction to computational thinking, and new user training. Please bring your own computer.

The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What is XSEDE? XSEDE is a single virtual system that scientists can use to interactively share computing resources, data and expertise. People around the world use these resources and services—things like supercomputers, collections of data and new tools—to improve our planet.

See https://portal.xsede.org/course-calendar/-/training-user/class/1112/sess... to sign up and review the agenda.
